Woven Shawl Scarf 3

This beautiful shawl is crafted from two individually woven triangles, carefully hand-stitched together to create a unique and comfortable piece. Mostly made from my own handspun wool, with some featuring a touch of single chunky merino or cotton, these shawls have a wonderfully warm, soft, and textured feel.

Each length of fibre is hand-blended on my drum carder, then hand-spun on my spinning wheel before being woven on my loom. The entire process takes place over several days, giving each shawl its organic character and depth. Designed to sit comfortably around the neck, it offers gentle warmth without the bulk of a long scarf. At approximately 103 cm x 45 cm, it’s perfect for anyone who finds traditional scarves a bit overwhelming and also makes a lovely fashion accessory. I often wear mine around the house as well as outside when it’s chilly.

To finish, a golden “MadeWeaveLove” tag is hand-stitched on, adding a final touch of distinction.

Care Instructions

Hand wash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry.
